Born in Fray Bentos, Uruguay, 1953. Lives and works in Paris. Pajaro Canzani entered the musical stage aged 17, winning the First Uruguayan Candombe festival and rapidly became something of a cult figure. After a period in Brazil, he moved to Buenos Aires and joined the legendary Chilean group Los Jaivas. After the Argentinian coup d'état he settled in Paris, continuing to tour extensively world-wide. Since then, he has had a number one hit in his native country and has worked with luminaries such as Peter Gabriel and Malcolm McLaren. His contribution to the Cezame collection is "L'Otra América" with Daniel Diaz CEZ 4048/49. A key reference for professionals in the audiovisual.
