Romanian composer born 29th March 1949 in Bucharest. Studied at the Bucharest Conservatory (1968-1975) and attended the summer courses in Darmstadt (1980, 1984). He was a recipient of a French Government fellowship for research and documentation at IRCAM in Paris (1982), participated in the Rencontres Internationales de Musique Contemporaine in Metz (1982), and attended the classes on computer music held at IRCAM in Paris (1985).
