Composers
Dominique Grimaldi
Dominique Grimaldi is one of France's most sought-after bass players. He's played with everybody. From Carol King to Chris de Burgh, Dave Stewart to Henri Salvador. Less in the pubic eye but equally rich and resonant is his career as a composer. He studied formal composition at the A.C.M. in Paris, launching him as musical director and arranger. (He directed the orchestra for the pope's visit to Paris for example). Continuing as a busy instrumentalist, he now writes music for radio and documentary theme music and film. His contributions to Cezame are, for the moment, collaborations wuh the multi-instrumentalist, Renaud Pion.
